Your collection, whatever it may consist of is an
"Art Form," a "Labor of Love," and a very
important part of your life. We know... because we're collectors
too and have experienced the excitement of finding the "Missing
Link" that fills a void in the collection at a flea market,
garage sale, or collectors show.
Collecting can be both a pride and a
frustration. The pride is in watching our collection grow... the
frustration is encountered when we don't know what to look for, or
when we add more items than we can remember.
The Collector Pad Data Base offers many extras that
remove the frustration by providing the most current and comprehensive
information about your collecting specialty.
Knowledge about your hobby can and should be
"addictive"... the more you have, the more you should
want. One of the features of the Collector Pad Data Bases is
that they are never finished. As a collector you have the
opportunity to share your knowledge about your hobby with other
collectors around the World through the unique medium of the Internet.
Much really significant and interesting information
about soda manufacturing, soda brands, and marketing methods is being
lost as the principals of early bottling operations grow older.
We solicit from you any information you might have of historical
importance and we will gladly take new information in any form you
wish to send. New items for the Data Bases need to include as
much information as you can furnish conforming to the format of each
Data Base.
A Chinese philosopher once stated, "A PICTURE IS
WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS," so pictures are very much
appreciated. Each Data Base Key has a "Collector
Roster" which provides a list of people who have submitted new
items to our expanding knowledge base. A Collector Number is
assigned each new submitter of information.
It takes some effort on your part, but more knowledge
about your hobby makes it worth the effort. If each collector
contributes a little knowledge, we all end up with a lot of
information to share.
We are also open to suggestions for the addition of
new topics which don't have to be related to soda collectibles.
Send us an E-Mail with your
additions and suggestions.
