| October 16, 2004 | Neighborhood Visit |
| The Farm at Nostalgiaville had a few special guests on October 16th, 2004. When everyone took their seats, we started with an introduction, everyone in the room told their name and where they are from. Then, Dixie started the fun with the HGTV presentation of The Barn. After that, it was on to the Can Collection, and the beautiful view of the property on the fourth floor deck. |
| It was on to the rooms, they were amused by how creative the eight and four year olds are. Next, it was on to the Tree House, the swinging bridge, and The Barn. A few went across the swinging bridge to the trusty oak tree, while other just looked and wondered if it was safe or not. |

Even though the Ark isn't complete, yet, we thought it should be one of the top items on the list to see, the view is splendid, and the fall leaves make it even better. So, the group took the scenic walk to the Ark, and checked out Lake Cheri, the water features, and of course Noah's Ark. |
| Some of the visitors took a chance, and accepted a ride on the Old Farts Cart. Paul and Jim were the chauffeurs. | ![]() |

The Labyrinth was a favorite of the ladies, because of the flowers, and serenity. The Rock Map was a place of interest, most were amazed at how different the rocks were from state to state, and I have to admit I am, too. |
| The last stop on this excursion was the Homestead. The men were amazed with the hand made tools on the back deck. Then, it was time for the entire gang to head over to Dixie and Martha Ann's house for a little BBQ and socializing. | ![]() |

Meet Mr. Dixie Couts, he is the organizer of this fiesta. He once was an engineer, he went into retirement, got bored with it, and became a real estate agent for Century 21. He has prospered in this line of work for several years now. He and his wife, Martha Ann, have been married for 54 years. The crew here at Nostalgiaville would like to thank Dixie for organizing this day, and for sharing his wonderful friends with us. |
